Your Marriage Is WORTH THE FIGHT....

Fighting for your marriage is worth it. We believe God wants to save your marriage and if you’re willing to fight, the reward will be a marriage you’ve always dreamed of. We believe that thrilling marriages are on the other side of the battle. We are proof.

I (Liz) remember one night we were watching one of our favorite shows, Yellowstone. This was in 2021 about a year after 5AM night (read this post here).

Armando asked me, “Did you think our marriage would ever be like this”?

My response was honest. I said, “No, because I never knew a marriage like this could exist.”

We had been through the uphill battle of fighting to stay married. We prayed daily and did daily devotionals. At times hope still felt lost but it was in those times we leaned into one another and to God. We HAD TO stand on his word because without it we would sure fail.

This scripture has been burning in our hearts and we wanted to share with you because it reminds us to stand together even when times are difficult.

”Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their efforts. For if either falls, his companion can lift him up; but pity the one who falls without another to lift him up.“

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 CSB

Did you know that the enemy is NOT a fan of your marriage because your marriage represents Christ’s’ relationship with the church, his bride.

Your marriage and family matter to God so what do you think that means for the enemy? He wants nothing more than to destroy what God put together.

We want to encourage you to…

Commit to resist the enemy in any way he may threaten your marriage this year. Be aware of his devices. There is a real enemy and it is not your spouse. But how clever the devil can be sometimes to make us think our spouses are the villains.

Commit to fighting together leaning on one another and on Gods word.

If you are in an uphill battle right now be encouraged that the Lord is right there with you. Rest knowing that He works everything out for the good of those who love him. (Romans 8:28) FIGHT FOR ONE ANOTHER….

Remember , Two are better than one.

Pray this prayer together with your spouse today:

“God we thank you for the gift of marriage. We thank you that today you would lead us in every way. Help us to recognize when the enemy is trying to destroy what you put together. We commit our marriage to you Lord as we commit to each other. Bless our marriage and bless our family today, AMEN”

With Love,

Liz and Armando
